我们都很熟悉的一个词--“跟风”，你知道用英语该怎么说吗？
有人可能会说，跟的英文是followe，风的英文是wind，那连起来不就是follow the wind吗？
但“跟风”的意思可并不是简单的“跟随着风”，因此当然也不能说follow the wind。
“跟风”的实际意思是学习、跟随一种风尚或潮流，因此准确的表达应该是jump on the bandwagon。
例：I always told my children not to jump on the bandwagon in fashion.
我常告诉孩子不必在服装上跟风。
此外，它还可以表示另外一种意思，就是“搭上…的快车，随大流”。
例：As more businesses jump on the GREEN bandwagon, salespeople will be asked to carry this message to customers and prospects.
随着越来越多企业跳上绿色环保这趟快车，销售员会被要求向客户和潜在客户传达企业的环保信息。
